Presidents Cup & Youth Trophy Semi-finals

The draw for the semi-final rounds of this seasons Syndicate Trust Presidents Cup & Syndicate Trust Youth Trophy have been made by Shaun Taylor, Referees Development Officer at the Lancashire FA.

Ties to be played on Sunday 17 April – Venue: TBC

Squires Gate or Fleetwood Juniors (Reds)	v	Atherton Collieries or Coppull
Penwortham St Teresa’s (U18's) or Penwortham St Teresa’s (Whites)	v	Fleetwood Town Juniors (U18 Reds) or BAE Warton

Ties be played on Sunday 10th April 2022 kick-off 11.00am on adjacent pitches at Tarleton Corinthians FC, Carr Lane, Tarleton, PR4 6BT.

Please Note: Cup ties played in the Lancashire Sunday Football League Cup competitions (Challenge Cup, Presidents Cup, Youth Cup and Youth Trophy) will be of 90 minutes duration.

If the scores are level at full time an extra period of 15 minutes each way will be played. If the scores are still level after extra time, the tie will be decided by the taking of penalty kicks in accordance with the Laws of the Game.

Referees

The Lancashire Sunday League encourages all referees to become members of the Referees Association and it is League policy to give priority of appointments to those referees who are an RA member.

Preston Referees Society is based at Preston North End Football Club, Sir Tom Finney Way, Preston, PR1 6RU, they meet on the first Monday of each month during the football season and everyone is welcome to attend their meetings. The meetings start at 7.30pm and usually finish around 9.00pm.

Anyone interested in joining Preston Referees Society or has any queries about refereeing should contact the Society Secretary Shaun Taylor here.

Physical Training: The Society provides physical training for its members at UCLan Sports Arena Training every Monday evening between 6.30-7.30pm except on Society Monthly Meeting nights when it will be brought forward to 6.00-7.00pm.
