Christmas Meeting - Raffle & Auction
The League’s Christmas Meeting will be held at Acregate Lane Labour Club on Monday 16 December 2019, commencing at 8.00pm.
This meeting is an opportunity for club officials to enjoy themselves in a relaxed atmosphere, with the minimum of league business whilst at the same time supporting our new adopted charity Lancashire Mind.
We have previously had excellent support from local professional and semi-professional clubs in this venture and this season we can once again thank the EFL, Preston North End FC, Blackburn Rovers FC, Blackpool FC and Fleetwood Town FC for donating prizes to the auction.
We ask our clubs to bring a prize for the raffle and invite 2 or 3 guests to the meeting to swell the ranks. Types of prizes tend to be bottles of spirits, wine or cans or bottles of beer, tins of chocolates, ladies or men’s fragrances and we are grateful each year for a football related item or two from Ian Senior of SKkits, who supplies kits and merchandise to many of our clubs.
There are usually over 100 prizes on display and as tickets are only sold at the meeting, all prizes can be won and claimed on the night.
All monies raised at the meeting will be donated to Lancashire Mind together with any other financial support raised for the charity during the season.
