Hunters & Ingol Rangers held by Bamber Bridge
Waverley Park (green) v Lostock Hall - Division 2

Hunters & Ingol Rangers dropped their first points of the season after a Jamie Sanderson goal gave Bamber Bridge United a share of the points at UCLan Sports Arena. League leaders Acregate Lane beat Theatre Boys 5-0, Southport & Ainsdale Amateurs beat AFC Ingol 4-1, Earnshaw Bridge also won 4-1 against Ribbleton and Tanterton & Springfields beat Ashton on Ribble 3-1.
Waverley Park are in third place in division 2 after their 2-2 draw against Lostock Hall at Mill Lane. The pitch was desperately in need of cutting and rolling but that did not stop these two sides putting on an exciting end-to-end game, which was well handled by referee Josh Hodges. A bizarre piece of indecision in the Waverley defence allowed Mervyn Salter to nip in and put Lostock Hall ahead after 14 minutes. Two minutes later the scores were level as Jamie Yates scored for Waverley from the spot and two minutes after that Lostock Hall regained the lead through John McEvoy. Daniel Ainsworth bagged Waverley’s second equaliser on 78 minutes to leave honours even between these two teams who clearly know each other inside out.
Penwortham Town’s 5-1 win at Worden Rangers keeps them top of the table, followed closely by Sporting Preston who beat Blackpool Town 3-1 and Park United 3-0 winners at home to Walton-le-Dale Wanderers. Sir Tom Finney head division 1 after their comfortable win at Walton Athletic but second placed Fulwood Park Rangers were beaten 2-1 at home by Walton-le-Dale United and AFC Preston beat Warton at home.
Tarleton Corinthians had an excellent 5-1 win at home to Fishwick Rangers in division 3, BAE Warton’s good form continued with a 3-I win against Rufford Park Rangers, Bamber Bridge Town beat AFC Lytham 6-3, Leyland beat Moor Park United and St Annes beat Midgery Court 5-1.
Bispham JFF Vipers 5-3 win against New Longton Rovers keeps them on top of youth division white and second placed AFC Darwen Red won 8-2 at Springfields. Youth division blue leaders AFC Blackpool won 2-1 at Pennington and Euxton Villa beat Chipping 5-1. Poulton Town Pumas 3-1 win against Lytham Juniors keeps them on top of youth division red, Fishwick Rangers beat Croston SC 3-2, Fleetwood Town beat Ladybridge 4-3 and Wyre Villa beat Lostock Hall SC 8-0. Park United head youth division green after beating Charnock Richard 5-1, AFC Darwen beat Lostock St Gerards 2-0 and the Clitheroe v Garstang game ended 0-0. Finally, Myerscough won 1-0 at Penwortham St Teresas in the Youth Cup.
